Citra crashing upon loading a rom when Hardware Renderer is ticked

Whenever loading a rom, Citra just closes. This does not happen when Harder Rendering is unticked, but the game becomes unplayable from rendering at 1fps. I have tried resetting all my settings and deleting my opengl folder in shaders like in other threads but to no avail. Citra used to work on an earlier version, but I don’t remember which version.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.

Try Canary version instead of Nightly.

Ahh, Canary seems to work. I guess that’s a suitable workaround. Sorry for bothering you all, then!
