Go to File>Open Citra Folder, then delete the shaders folder found here. Now try your game again.

did not fix it. still crashes on launch, also sorry if i shouldve made it clearer, but i did say “ive tried deleting shader folder”)

Sorry, I asked you to retry since we’ve recently made changes to that part. Since the time in between that the topic was opened and when I responded was rather long, I figured we should do that again just to be sure. Can you upload a new log file on the latest Citra Nightly build? I want to double check something.

ok! no problem, sorry for the misunderstanding

Maybe try disabling “Preload Custom Textures”? That can take a lot of RAM, which could possibly lead to crashes, especially on larger texture packs.

right. so really wierdly this helped me get to the solution, when i turned on then off custom textures it worked? (i dont currently use a texture pack) Im not entirely sure what the issue was, i can turn on and off preload custom textures as i please and it works fine, it wouldnt be a ram issue i have 32gb, and im entirely unsure of what he issue was in the first place, because i can revert to the exact settings i was using before and it solved? The really strange thing is, ive already messed with that setting and it didnt fix it before LMAO. But anyway, thank you!

No problem, glad to be of help
