Citra D-Pad Axis

Issue:
when trying to rebind the “D-Pad”, I can’t rebind it because my virtual controller D-Pad is not counted as an Axis, wondered if possible to add non-axis D-Pad input as an option in the future,

Yea, this is definitely a well reported issue. Unfortunately, we lack a main Android dev currently. Which makes getting new updates out a bit of a slow process. Once someone shows interest in working on Android, this is definitely one of the things I’ll ask them to look into.
