Citra does not work on a device with MediaTek Helio G85

Someone who uses the Redmi Note 9 device, with the MediaTek Helio G85 processor.
The game opens, but the FPS is very low, around 3-5.

Unfortunately the drivers for MediaTek are very bad for OpenGL ES apparently :frowning: even worse than Samsung’s Exynos chips. The best drivers are for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips.

This is basically a manufacturer issue.

If you want to check with a benchmark, you can use like GFXBench. Here are my scores on an LG G8s ThinQ (has Snapdragon 855):

Aztec Ruins OpenGL (High Tier): 1586 (25 fps)
Car Chase: 2210 (37 fps)
Manhattan 3.1: 3478 (56 fps)

The Redmi Note 9 seems to be in the same price range as the Redmi Note 8T and Moto G8 Power which have Snapdragon 665. Those would run Citra considerably better.
