Citra doesn't recognize my controller

Issue:
Hi. I would like to use my controller (Horipad Wireless for Switch), but Citra doesn’t recognize it. i didn’t try other controllers… yet. I have the Dualshock 4 (which is a little bit damaged) and Joy-Con of course, so Horipad is my best choice.
I followed the istructions right here:

but I’m not sure if it is still necessary or something.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.

Many of these controllers require the use of a controller wrapper like DS4Windows, Betterjoy or even Steam (running Citra through Steam would acomplish this) to provide the necessary drivers in order for Citra to be able to see the inputs. After that, you just need to map the buttons in our Controls menu and you should be good to go.

initiallly i tryied x360ce, but i was having problems. i will try with steam… somehow…
now i’m working so i will let you know later. thanks

did it. eazy peazy.
I used steam, and it work fine. Actually i did’t even know you could open programs through steam. Thank you.

btw now i know why i was having problems with my controller and blutooth connection. Basically citra was turning my controller off when it is open.
