Citra drops frames to 0 while music still plays in LOZ OOT

Issue:
I am trying to play Ocarina of time and am having an issue with the game dropping to 0 frames and not going back up, however the music does still play. I did turn off Hardware Shader since that was causing me to drop to 16 frames during gameplay and cutscenes, and it helped with me staying at 30 frames while sometimes dipping to 27 in some cutscenes. If this is causing the issue is there anyway to keep hardware shaders on while not having it dip so bad?

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.

You should update the drivers, they are ~6 months old :stuck_out_tongue:

However, you will experience much better performance if you dual boot Linux (e.g Ubuntu) because Citra uses OpenGL and Radeon cards perform poorly on Windows with OpenGL.

If it is still 0 fps like that then perhaps the rom is corrupted and you should redump it. Follow the guides below:
