Citra freeze due to textures

Issue:
Citra freezes every time I want to start Pokemon Omega Ruby. This happens every time I have Preload Custom Textures enabled.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.71 GHz
  • GPU: GTX 1060 6GB
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly 1678
  • Game: Pokemon Omega Ruby

I did not find anything wrong in your log file. Please wait for a moderator to assist.

Depending how many custom textures you are using and how fast your computer is, it may take a few minutes. Preloading textures takes a lot of RAM as well.

Most people don’t need to preload.
