Citra freezes and crashes when i try to play animal crossing

hey, it’s me again
i tried searching in the web for this kind of problem, it didn’t even work so, let’s get to it

i’m supposed to be playing animal crossing new leaf today but the game suddenly stopped working,
when i tried to launch it, citra freezes then it says [error in picture]

The log gets cleared each time you open Citra so make sure you do these steps to ensure it catches the issue:

  1. Open Citra then File->Open Citra Folder then log folder(keep this open in the background, do not close the folder).
  2. Start the game, then close Citra after it crashes(don’t reopen or the log gets cleared so you have to do it again).
  3. Reupload the log here.

You might have to turn off Hardware Renderer then do the steps again in order to get a useful log.

Still says null everywhere, double check that you are doing the steps exactly with Hardware Renderer disabled.

do i have to wait for it before it crashes? the game worked slowly when i disabled it.
