Citra freezes in Pokemon Ultra Sun

Issue:
Citra freezes in ultra sun. This happened the first time after catching my first pokemon right after tutorial, after that it started freezing from the beginning. I’ve tried different roms, still no good. Now, I know the PC specs aren’t good, but this problem wasn’t there 2 years ago. The PC is still the same with latest graphics update, so, the forums with updating graphics tips wasn’t helpful, hence, the new query.

Ok, here is one thing. I decided to disable this specific cheat and it’s no longer freezing… I hope it helps to find a more general solution.

Edit:
One more glitch I found due to one specific cheat active. It freezes citra just after loading the game (Doesn’t even start the intro thing).

Will edit (and mention) if I found more cheat glitches. I think this is the solution to people claiming disabling debug thing, enabling multiplying things, etc. (All other solutions) and have latest graphics.
Please someone reply if he is an exception here.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • You have cheats enabled. This might cause weird behaviour or crashes. Please disable them and retest if your game is experiencing bugs or crashes.

Incompatible cheat codes can cause freezing like this. So this doesn’t surprise me. Make sure that the cheat(s) you’re attempting to use match your game’s game update version. If there’s a mismatch, it can cause issues like this.
