Citra isn't running my ACNL :(

Issue:
So, I first updated Citra Canary to Citra XL and tried to play. I clicked on the game and it went normally to the loading screen… And then it just closed abruptly. I tried again, even restarted my computer and the same issue occurred. So I unistalled Citra, installed again and it still doesn’t work. Halp

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

Oh dear bot, how do I do that?

It looks like you accidentally reopened Citra before uploading the log so the log got cleared. The log gets cleared every time you open Citra. Have the log folder open in the background so when you close Citra you can immediately upload the new log here.

Still the same. Do these steps to ensure it catches the issue:

  1. Open Citra then File->Open Citra Folder then open log folder(keep this open in the background, do not close the folder).
  2. Start the game, then close Citra after you encounter the issue in game(don’t reopen or the log gets cleared so you have to do it again).
  3. Upload the new log here.

You can try turn off Disk Shader Cache in the graphics options in Citra. It causes issues for some users with some games.

Oh my god you FIXED IT. Thank you so much!!! I owe you my first-born child now. I didn’t even need to do all the log stuff, just turned off Disk Shader Cache. You’re a wizard. Thanks again.
