Citra MMJ Deleting Save Files Failed

Issue:
Hi Everyone! So I updated Citra MMJ on my Anbernic RG505 and I’m trying to import my existing save file into the new directory. I’m running into an error where it wont let me replace or delete the current save file. I just get a failed error. I’ve tried a number of different file explorers on android and they all fail to delete or replace the save file so I’m wondering if there is something I’m missing? Any advice would be of a great help!

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File

I mean sure I can upload the log file but I’m not really sure it’s going to give any helpful information as this is technically outside of Citra itself, its just being able to save over or add save files in it’s directory. It feels like its a permissions issue

Having a look further into this it looks like the issue is the Antutu version of Citra, even if I install the storage access version of Antutu, it wont let me delete save files or save over existing files.

Try using Citra Nightly or Canary instead. MMJ is an unofficial build, meaning it is not supported or maintained by the team.

Thank you for the advice my friend! I will look into them now! Would you be able to advice on which version would be best performance wise on an Anbernic RG505?

Nightly is the more stable version, where as Canary has untested features that release before they are pushed into Nightly. Currently, both versions have about the same degree of performance (as far as I am aware).
