That’s it, any game I open it performs very well, but when I change to another screen or minimize it and turn back, the image on the emulation freezes but the sound is still working, and I can even interact using the keyboard at performing some actions into the game because I still hear the sounds but the image keeps freezed until I have to restart the emulation.

Thanks for your response, I tried that but got the same result, I also have a windows laptop but on it, the games never freeze when emulator is minimized, maybe I should try building older versions than the current.
I have a feeling that this might be happening because of nouveau. Can you try NVIDIA’s proprietary GPU driver for Linux? That’s generally speaking what most people use since NVIDIA locks a lot of their hardware behind proprietary software, which open source drivers like nouveau simply aren’t allowed to use.
