Citra Nightly Crashes always

Issue:
Its my first time using citra and I am really excited for being able to play Pokemon. However everytime it justs freezes right after 2 seconds when I reach the select your language screen. This is really frustrating and I hope someone can help

  • Game: Pokemon Ultra Sun… same for other Pokemon

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

This driver is outdated, you need to update.

Since you have an old GPU which can randomly crash due to a driver bug you might also need to use Nightly 1392 until you upgrade your computer: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-nightly/releases/tag/nightly-1392

If it still crashes, then perhaps your rom is corrupted. Redump it using the guides below and have at least 4GB free space on your Nintendo 3DS’s SD card:
