Citra Nightly not launching after updated on 06-May-2023

Issue:
After downloading the latest update, the execution of the program leads to citra-qt.exe- Entry Point not Found.
"The procedure entry point CreateEventW could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-core-synch-|1-2-0.dll.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
  • CPU: intel celeron 2957U
  • GPU: integrated
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): 1899
  • Game: (no game, its the app itself)

Windows 7 isn’t supported anymore for Citra, to continue to use it you will need to downgrade to a less updated version of Citra or upgrade from Windows 7
