Citra not opening by any means

Issue:
After loading the MiiCreator.app file with citra.exe (not citra-qt.exe), it doesn’t load, it just leaves the cmd empty, and next time i open Citra, it doesn’t open. It’s like it’s locked or something, but in Task Manager, it appears it’s running as a background process.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81 GHz
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Latest, Nightly
  • Game: n/a
  • Screenshot of Issue (include the full Citra window including titlebar): n/a, because it doesn’t boot

The log file is incomplete. Make sure you follow the steps carefully:

  1. Open Citra, then go to File>Open Citra Folder (Citra>Open Citra Folder if on MacOS) and open up the log folder. Now keep that open in the background.
  2. Launch your game and encounter the problem; crash/slowdown/glitch and close citra if it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
  3. Now upload the log file in this chat.
