Hi there. Anyone of you have tried the emulator on Apple’s M1 lineup?
Thanks @tywald for the update. I was indeed curious about it and I was hoping Citra would run faster on M1 since there is a lot of X86 apps that were reportedly running better on M1 than Intel.
Did you run Citra using the “Open with Rosetta” option? (see the screenshot).
You will need to ask the user in that thread
Thank you for the info.
when I tried to go to the Citra settings in general, I couldn’t find the open using rosetta. So, let me ask you something so Citra doesn’t work on apple M1 if it doesn’t work is there any other way to use Citra for apple M1.
This isn’t in Citra’s settings. This is through mac’s app settings. Regardless, if Citra launches at all (the app, not the game), you’re already launching Citra through Rosetta. Like I said, there is currently no support for the M1 Macs in Citra. Most games don’t launch and the ones that do are full of bugs. A user compiled a list here: Apple M1 Chip on MacBook Pro - #11 by simonaque
But this isn’t a verified list, so you’ll have to take it with a grain of salt.
