Citra-qt.exe has stopped working 2019

Issue:
My problem is this: I’ve been playing the emulator for a long time, and suddenly out of nowhere it stopped working. At the time when I downloaded it, it gave the same problem.
“citra-qt.exe has stopped working”.
I don’t know what made it work at the time, but it was working until recently, and now it’s back in trouble.
PS: I’m sorry, I didn’t put my computer specifications because the citra was working perfectly with high performance.

You accidentally reopened Citra so the log got cleared.

  1. Have the folder open where you can see the log file
  2. Start the game then close Citra(DO NOT REOPEN!)
  3. Upload the log.

Also fill in the missing information about what Windows version you use, what your processor is and graphics. You can find such info from like Control Panel->System and Device Manager or dxdiag. You can also install Speccy.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • You have GDB debugging enabled. This will cause Citra not to launch games. This is only intended for debugging purposes and should be disabled in settings.

About “GDB”. I unchecked the option and keep giving error.

You still haven’t done the log correctly. From what I can tell you opened the config menu(I guess to do “open log location”) then closed Citra.

You need to start the game first before closing Citra. Remember to not reopen Citra or you will have to start the game again before closing

Now tell me, am I doing something wrong when I get the log?

This log was generated from an updated Citra:

Here is the log:citra_log.txt (4.4 KB)

I think it hasn’t changed much …

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

Now that you have changed, go back and read my first reply so you can generate the log properly because you keep reopen Citra

My friend, I am not reopening Citra. You’ve repeated this a thousand times, now all I have to do is call me an idiot. I will delete the post, thanks anyway.

The reason why I say it is because the log doesn’t say you even started a game. I would have to guess you incorrectly dumped the games from your 3DS. Follow these guides to make sure you are doing it right:

I really appreciate your patience with me. But I’m pretty sure I did it correctly, and about the roms, they are decrypted, so everything was correct and the roms were running perfectly. I don’t know what causes this problem, but for you to see, my citras went back to work after I downloaded Nightly Build, and both Nightly Build and Canary went back to work, and perfectly again. Thank you for taking the time to help me.
