^ This driver is out of date. To update, download win64_25.20.100.6373.zip (direct link) from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28289/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10
Then follow this guide to install it: https://www.howtogeek.com/343287/how-to-fix-the-driver-being-installed-is-not-validated-for-this-computer-on-intel-computers/
Lastly, you should now be able to directly install the latest GPU driver for your chip: Download and install igfx_win_100.9684.exe (direct link) from Download Intel® Graphics - Windows® DCH Drivers
Let us know if the problem persists.
I followed all the steps, I downloaded the win64 driver and installed the latest GPU driver for my chip. Now Citra Nightly won’t open.
It seems unlikely that they’re related unless you did something weird during the driver installation. Try restarting your PC and see if the problem remains.
Maybe I did so something weird, I’m not too sure. However, Citra Nightly still won’t open at all and I have tried restarting and re-downloading it. Still won’t open.
Type winver
into your search bar and launch the prompt when it pops up. Tell me what Windows 10 update version you’re on.
Windows 10
Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.3326)
That’s pretty old. There’s a chance that the drivers aren’t playing nicely because of the Windows 10 update version being so old. Try updating to at least Windows 10 2004 or newer.
Yeah, I just checked the updates availability and there were quite a few, I’ll install all the updates overnight and see if Citra will be able to run after. Thanks for your help
