Citra-qt.exe stopped working after last update 1989 and 1990

Issue:
once i updated Citra version to 1989, it stopped working and closes immediately. also happened same issue happened when I updated to 1990 via maintenance tool.
I used earlier version (1988) to obtain a log for your concern.

System Information

  • Operating System: windows 10 home single language
  • CPU: Intel(R) Core ™ i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.60 GHz
  • GPU: NIVIDIA GeForce GT 635M
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): 1990

No game was booted in your log. If you are experiencing a crash then do not open citra again until after you posted the log as it gets purged when you reopen citra.

App closes immediately before i could run any game ,it shows me the message in screen shot and force close program, also log is empty , only old log is available.

had this same issue today, dont know if it will help you but it could give you some pointers. the solution was to download an older build of citra that worked as some driver change in the 1989 update caused issues for some systems, heres the link to my forum post:

Thank you. I downloaded the last working release (1988) till i can figure a way to fix this.
