Citra Quit Unexpectedly

Every time i try to load pokemon alpha sapphire or any other rom into citra the app always crashes and it says "Citra quit unexpectedly."
I am using a mid 2014 macbook pro, my processor is 2.6 GHz Intel Core i5, memory 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB

this is what my terminal says when it crashes

How did you dump your ROM?

I just downloaded citra got a decrypted rom, then went into citra loaded the file and thats what happened

I downloaded it again now it says

Citra was unable to locate the 3DS shared fonts. The game you are trying to load requires additional files from your 3DS to be dumped before playing.

where did you get the rom from?

I’ll ask again. How did you dump your ROM? “Got” isn’t good enough to work out your issue. Further, what version of Citra are you using?
