Citra randomly closes after a few minutes of playing

citra closes after a few minutes of playing. pokemon x and y play just fine. already downloaded the lates intel drivers and other updates but still have the exact same issues.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10 home x64
  • CPU: intel core i3-3110m 2.40ghz
  • GPU: intel hd graphics 4000
    4gb ddr3 ram
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Nightly 1611
  • Game: pokemon : all mystery dungeon titles, omega ruby, sun and ultra moon

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

Ignore the bot regarding the drivers, it is a bit dumb when it comes to old GPUs.

Since you have an old GPU which can randomly crash due to a driver bug you might need to use Nightly 1392 until you upgrade your computer: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-nightly/releases/tag/nightly-1392

never mind. old version indeed works, but so does the newer build when i turn new 3ds mode off. :smiley:

Oh, so no crashes at all with New 3DS mode?

Nope. Since i turned it off, I’ve had no issues with crashing and I’m playing it smoothly on 2-3x native depending on the game. Unfortunately I have to check my settings after each update, because after the update the new 3ds mode is back on.:roll_eyes: will do some more testing the coming days with different games to see if it keeps playing smoothly.
