So this started the very first time citra started working and i was using it. at random times citra would just crash. it happens so suddenly you dont get the time to do anything. your game just freezes for a second then your mouse has a loading circle next to it and bam citra closes. im just playing and it happens. i’ve used citra for a few months now and it constantly happens. i didnt think about writing a report about it since it started to crash less and less but now its happening a lot now. i would make a lot of progress in a game then it would crash and i would lose it. i have to save so often bc of this issue. any way to fix?

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.
- You are running out of date drivers for your GPU. You need to install the most recent driver for your graphics card from Intel’s website. Support for Intel® Graphics
I responded to your first topic about this, asking for a log file. For future reference, you can simply edit your opening post to add the log file, or respond to your own topic with a comment containing the log file. No need to create an entirely new topic for it. I’ll simply respond here for now since the info I need is here.
Because your iGPU has driver bugs, you’ll need to use an older version of Citra in order to prevent random freezing and crashing from occurring until you upgrade your hardware:
Download citra-windows-mingw-20191214-ddb7ead.7z
from Release nightly-1392: Merge pull request #5020 from jroweboy/dynamic-mf · citra-emu/citra-nightly · GitHub
Extract it using Winrar or 7zip. Put the extracted folder anywhere you want. Now run citra-qt.exe from the folder and run your game.
when you say anywhere you want do you mean anywhere in the citra folder?
I would’ve specified if so. No, I meant that you could place this folder on whatever drive or directory you wish to place it as it is a standalone build.
this still didnt work and my game still crashes.
Please upload a log file using this older Citra version.

- You are running out of date drivers for your GPU. You need to install the most recent driver for your graphics card from Intel’s website. Support for Intel® Graphics
- You have cheats enabled. This might cause weird behaviour or crashes. Please disable them and retest if your game is experiencing bugs or crashes.
You’re still using Nightly 1733 here…
Use the Nightly 1392 build as I’ve told you twice now…
