Citra randomly closes while playing

Issue: Citra closes randomly while playing, no error messages or anything.
I’ve been playing Ocarina of Time 3D and Majora’s Mask 3D with HD texture packs, and for the most part it works totally fine. They run at full speed, except for when I enter new areas Citra can sometimes freeze for 3 seconds. Other times, Citra just completely closes when I enter new areas. Is there a way I can sort this out?
