Citra randomly crashes while playing

Citra randomly crashes while playing
Citra nightly crashes after playing for sometime. It happens randomly. Happened with Pokemon X and Pokemon Omega Ruby. I tried others versions of Citra but any of them worked.

Windows 10 Home Single Language
Intel Core i3-3217U
Intel HD Graphics 4000 (supports OpenGL 4.0)
Citra Nightly 1705
Pokemon Omega Ruby

PS: Sorry if there’s any language error, English is a second language for me.

The log file is incomplete. Make sure you follow the steps carefully:

  1. Open Citra, then go to File>Open Citra Folder and open up the log folder. Now keep that open in the background.
  2. Launch your game and encounter the problem; crash/slowdown/glitch and close citra if it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
  3. Now upload the log file in this chat.

Thanks for your reply, I left the log file open and played until the game crashed, saved it and closed, I hope I did it alright.

If this one isn’t the right one I also have the original from the folder (not the old one)

  • You are running out of date drivers for your GPU. You need to install the most recent driver for your graphics card from Intel’s website. Downloads for Graphics
  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.
  • The CPU Clock percentage is not 100%. You may experience unexpected game speed.

Ignore the bot regarding the drivers, it is a bit dumb when it comes to old iGPUs.

Your iGPU has driver bugs so you should use this older build until you buy a new computer: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-nightly/releases/tag/nightly-1392

No game was booted in your log. If you are experiencing a crash then do not open citra again until after you posted the log as it gets purged when you reopen citra.
For more information, see How to Upload the Log File
