Citra run encrypted .cias files

Hey there,

I want to run cias files on Citra by “installing the cias to sd”. However my cia files are encrypted so it give me an encrypted error, so I decrypt them using the cia decrypt tool, however it give a a cci file. I don’t want to use that, as I’m specially looking for using a cia files on citra to “install on the system”. How can I do this? Are aes keys that do this, or another tool (besides a hacked 3DS), to decrypt a cia?

Thanks for your guys help in advance,
-Bob

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File

Hacked 3ds is your best bet for decrypting games, dlc, updates, and system software.

I see. However is there any other way? All my cias are encrypted is there just an another way just to decrypt those cia so I can use them to “install” I know it’s very specific but it’s something I want to try.

Nope. Hacked 3ds is the only reliable way, and only way we support.

Yes I got to worked using my system.
