Citra Setup not even opening

I downloaded the latest version of Citra. The setup won’t even open, whether I run as administrator or not. This has been a persisting issue. However, it is running in the background.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10 Pro
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X Eight-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1600
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): current Citra as of 7/30/22 on Windows x64
  • Game: n/a
  • Screenshot of Issue (include the full Citra window including titlebar):

Do you have any third party anti virus software installed? Some of those can be a bit overzealous and interfere with the installer. If not, try restarting your PC and run the installer.

I see. Thank you! restarting method doesn’t work for me, so I assume it is the antivirus.
