Issue:
When I start a game, pokemon y in this case, the screen turns black after I leave the title screen. There’s a little lag period and then the audio starts again and I know the game continues because I can hear sounds when I press keys.

Thanks for the reply! I reinstalled the update but this time I did not do a clean installation but a regular one. That seems to have solved the problem. If it happens again I’ll try the tool you suggested.
