Citra shows blue boxes when running AC:NL, and display drivers fail

Issue:
Title. Two blue boxes appear when I run AC:NL. I get a notification saying my display drivers failed and recovered. The game music plays and I can move around on the menu with buttons, I can tell by the audio cues. All display drivers and Citra are updated, everything seems to be in order.
System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 8.1
  • CPU: Intel ® Core i7-4500U-CPU @ 1.80 GHz 2.40 GHz
  • GPU: Intel ® HD Graphics Family
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Canary 1644
    Game: Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

I enabled Accurate Multiplication but it crashed and upon trying again, the blue boxes showed again. Intel says all of my drivers are updated.

GPU Driver Version: Build 10.18.10.3304

These drivers are outdated, you need to update.
