Citra update caused invisible objects in game

#1

Issue:
I haven’t opened Citra in a long time. When I did, I noticed the version it updated to was way ahead (just judging from the version number)

I noticed that all NPCs in a game I played without problems before, were invisible, and the same happened to another game I downloaded after from the same franchise.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-7700HQ
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): 1183
  • Game: Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga & Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story. Both (EUR)

I found some issues in that log that need resolving:

  • Citra is currently utilizing open-source system files which may cause emulation to be less accurate, but not affect system stability.

which citra version were you using previously?

I do not recall which version it was.

However, I managed to fix the issue by changing the graphics settings. Under the tab ‘Renderer’, I now got all 5 boxes checked. When I had some unchecked, it either crashed Citra or cause the invisible sprites.
