Citra won't let me select a game, or even change my game directory folder

Issue:
my singular game (monster hunter 4U) suddendly got greyed out and does not allow me to launch it, no matter how long i wait. about every 5 seconds, it seems like the game directory refreshes. it doesnt allow me to click on anything except the tabs at the top of the app pretty much.
on the off change it DOES stop refreshing and the game stops being greyed out on the game directory menu, citris crashes after a few seconds

  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly 2008

No game was booted in your log. If you are experiencing a crash then do not open citra again until after you posted the log as it gets purged when you reopen citra.

correct, no game was booted. thats the ISSUE, it wont let me boot one

This can happen if you install Citra on a remote folder (such as onedrive). If so, reinstall Citra to a local folder instead.
