"CommonKey 0 missing" when attempting to install any CIA

When I attempt to install any CIA file through Citra, I get an error and the log generates the following message:
Service.FS core/file_sys/ticket.cpp:GetTitleKey:50: CommonKey 0 missing
Service.FS core/file_sys/ticket.cpp:GetTitleKey:50: CommonKey 0 missing
Service.AM core/hle/service/am/am.cpp:InstallCIA:371: CIA file installation aborted with error code c86044d2

What does this mean? I would assume there is a problem with the CIA file itself, but this seems to happen for every file I try.

Have you installed many .cia before? If yes, then it might be this:

It’s recommended to have the games in .3ds or .cxi formats and reserve game updates & DLC for .cia


No, this is my first time using Citra. I can try looking for files in other versions.

How much free space do you have on your C:\ drive?

Several gigabytes.

I found a .cxi version and that works fine.

I have the same problem, im using .cia for the fates dlcs, my C:/ has a lot of space, and i´m using citra, not my console to play fe fates: special edition, the “sd” citra has can have better space?, How?

No game was booted in your log. If you are experiencing a crash then do not open citra again until after you posted the log as it gets purged when you reopen citra.
