When I try to load any game, I get a completely blank screen with no audio; and the dropdown menus under the titlebar no longer appear, so I have to close Citra completely instead of simply stopping the emulation when it happens.

I actually mean to say WITH audio. I CAN hear the game in the background, and changing graphics settings doesn’t do anything at all aside from making the game audio stutter more or less because of performance changes.
Try update your drivers: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29058/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?product=95443
You might have to install manually using the .zip if the installer(.exe) doesn’t let you.
Try Canary 1478 when available, there might be some fixes being added.
