Connecting my bluetooth controller to citra

Issue:
I have been trying to configure my citra for my xbox one controller. I connect it using bluetooth. I run my citra on steam. I have tried editing configurations on emulation → configuration → controls but it can’t sense it. Then I tried going to config → qt-config.ini and editing the controls there but the old keyboard controls would always come back.

Does Steam pick up on your controller? If so, go to Emulation>Configuration>Controls and map out the buttons there. If you’re running Citra through Steam, it will hijack the controller’s drivers no matter what you do.
