Console ID conflict when trying to trade pokemon with myself

#1

Issue:
Hi,
I’ve been trying to trade pokemon with myself, but whenever I join a lobby my second account can’t join the same lobby because it says I have a conflicting console ID. I’ve regenerated them loads of times but it doesn’t seem to work. Many thanks for any help!

Since you are using both Canary and Nightly builds, installed via the installer, they are using the same config file by default. Hence the console-id conflict.

To fix this, make a new empty folder with the name user, inside the canary folder. Then proceed to regenerate the console ID on Citra Canary and try again. This time, it will work.
