Crafting in Fantasy Life Not Working

Issue:
I’m not sure what’s causing this issue. I’ve done all sorts of tests, doing and not doing certain things in game, messing around with the graphics tab on configuration, etc. Basically, when I try blacksmithing, carpentering, sewing, cooking, etc; after I select the object I want to craft, it brings me to the screen where I click to change the quantity and begin. But the buttons to change quantity and begin craft are gone. Oddly enough clicking them still works. However for the begin button, once I click it, the clickability of all other buttons no longer works, and the back button completely disappears (also fails to work). Once I get to this part, I can’t do anything. The game isn’t frozen and the audio still works but I cannot back out. I can only reload the save.

Please do not use save states when troubleshooting. Please test if this issue occurs without save states, if it does upload another log file.

Do you mean test from a save state where the issue isn’t occurring and go from there? Or use the save function within the game itself? It’s been a while since I’ve used those.

You’re using save states, please do not use them at all when troubleshooting or as a replacement for in-game saves.

I have not used save states since you told me this and so far I have not encountered any issues. Does using save states often cause issues? Should I only use them sparingly or should I avoid using them completely?
