Crash when I open the game

Since I installed the last update when I start Pokemon X I get an error and it closes, my computer is compatible so I don’t know what could cause the problem.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • You are running out of date drivers for your GPU. You need to install the most recent driver for your graphics card from Intel’s website. Support for Intel® Graphics

They are updated, I did it when the problem started. Stil crash

so your computer maybe has 6GB of ram. to it not crash, you can upgrade your ram to maybe 8GB of ram, maybe that will work.

This issue is related to your iGPU’s buggy OpenGL driver. This isn’t solveable on Windows 8(.1) unless you’re willing to use an ancient Citra Nightly build: Release nightly-860: Merge pull request #4021 from FearlessTobi/port-709 · citra-emu/citra-nightly · GitHub

I’d recommend you update to at least Windows 10.

Citra barely uses more than 2.5GB of RAM in most titles. So I’m not sure where you got this idea. You’re also making assumptions on their RAM configuration, which isn’t provided anywhere.

The log file is incomplete. Make sure you follow the steps carefully:

  1. Open Citra, then go to File>Open Citra Folder (Citra>Open Citra Folder if on MacOS) and open up the log folder. Now keep that open in the background.
  2. Launch your game and encounter the problem; crash/slowdown/glitch and close Citra if it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart Citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
  3. Now upload the log file in this chat.
