Crimson Shroud softlocks after throwing dice

Issue:
In Crimson Shroud, you sometimes throw dice. After this is done, the game may or may not softlock: the sound still works, and the text on the bottom screen is still scrolling, but the game does not continue as it should.
I got through the first battle, and noticed this in the second battle. When I try again (saved just before the second battle), the game softlocks randomly after a dice throw. It may be the first, it may be the fifth.

I found some issues in that log that need resolving:

disable ‘Enable Hardware Shader’

Thanks for the suggestion. Besides some slowdown, I could not notice any other effects. The issue persisted. Here’s a new log, though. citra_log.txt (106.6 KB)

I also tried with the hardware renderer off (as well as the shader JIT). That also did not work, and produced this log.
