Disney Art Academy touchscreen drawn image slides down or glitches after a tutorial

Issue:
In the game a lesson is made up of drawing sections and explanation sections. After most tutorial explanations, the image drawn up to that point slides down messing the entire drawing up. Some other times the touchscreen drawing gets flipped upside down. In a way this makes the game unplayable.
Maybe it’s a misconfigured resolution setting, but it happens with the defaults.
I would love to hear if there’s a config that fixes this.

Any idea what it could be?
I downloaded the new nightly appimage version 1912, turned off vsync and all advanced graphic options that were enabled by default. Helped a bit, but in the first tutorial after he zooms in to color the mouse’s eyes, the image still gets flipped upside down when trying to color.
This game is worthless if tutorials are inaccessible like this…
