Downloaded Citra but I'm running into this issue where I can't open it

I just downloaded Citra but i’m running into this issue where I can’t open it, however, When I do open it, it blinks open then closed within a second or less. Both the ‘citra’ and the ‘citra-qt’.

System Information

  • Operating System:
  • CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 840M
  • Citra Version (found in titlebar): Nightly Build - f852369
  • Game: N/A
  • Screenshot of Issue (include the full Citra window including titlebar):

Paste your entire console window log here.(can’t open)

In order to save a copy of the log, run this command in the Citra directory.
citra-qt > log.txt 2>&1

What OS are you using? Citra requires a 64bit OS.

Please edit your original post and put the exact Citra version you’re using, and if it’s nightly or bleeding edge.

oh, sure. I didn’t know what to put at the time.
@flamboyant one moment

Windows 10 Home 64-bit

i remember someone having this exact issue, they had the platforms folder missing. try downloading the nightly build again and make sure you extract the compressed archive correctly and nothing is missing

Alright–also, I edited the OP and put up the screenshot of my issue. I guess I didn’t read it properly. I’m not that well today lol.

looking at the picture provided, yup you are missing the platforms folder

oh, so where do I get that?

edit: Oh, ill get to redownloading lol.

Alright, it works. Thanks.
