There are quite a few mods on the official repository that are not up to the latest released game version number. I would like to edit a few of the mods by just changing the game version number in the file to see if some of them might still work with the latest game update.
Some mods are obvious whether they are working or not, but others are harder to notice. Is there a way to tell from the emulator itself, if a specific mode is actually working, if its intended effect is not one immediately obvious?
In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by yuzu. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: Getting Log Files - yuzu
The mods on our repo specifically mention what version it ‘applies to’ game update wise.
If you want to try editing mods you can always just download them. Changing the version number in the file isn’t going to work in every case. Due to how mods work. Lot of the game updates change the memory address among other things.
When a mod is properly applied it shows in game properties. You can tell if it works when you see the change reflected in game. Log shows some of it being loaded. But not if there is issue.
