"Error while loading ROM!"

Issue: A pop-up window that says “an unknown error has occurred” appears everytime I try to open Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

That looks like a badly built ROM. I would suggest a redump. Please refer to our game dumping guides:

Make sure your GM9 is up to date and that you have enough free storage space available on your SD-Card to perform the dump.

    This usually refers to a badly built ROM. You should redump your game if this was a base dump. If you edited this ROM, check whether your base-game works.
