Error: your GPU may not support OpenGL 4.3

Issue:
How do I fix the "your GPU may not support OpenGL 4.3? That happens every time I try to open a game. After that, Citra stops working. (Windows 10) Detail: I have managed to emulate games on Citra before, such as Pokemon Ultra Sun and X/ Y. This error message appeared out of nowhere.

Citra’s OpenGL version requirement was increased a good while ago. This also caused some older hardware to not be supported anymore. Your hardware is among those. You can still use the last Citra build before the OpenGL version requirement was increased:

Download citra-windows-mingw-20220901-d380980.7z from Release nightly-1782 · citra-emu/citra-nightly · GitHub. Extract the file and open citra-qt(.exe).

It doesn’t seem to be an extractable file for me. “This file does not have an app associated with it”. That’s what it says.

What operating system are you on?

Edition Windows 10 Pro
Version 22H2
Installed on ‎8/‎12/‎2023
OS build 19045.3208
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19041.1000.0

Please install it normally, and not through the Windows app store.
