Fatal Error, type:generic

Issue:
I used to play Monster Hunter XX on an off earlier this year. After a break from the game, I retried playing it until Citra Canary tells me there’s a Fatal Error when trying to boot up the game. Tried with both Canary and Nightly versions to no avail.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-7500U

  • GPU: NVIDIA GEFORCE 940MX

  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Canary 1087

  • Game: Monster Hunter XX

I got a fatal error in smash 3ds (europe) after i installed the update (v.1.1.7) and the dlc.

that is not related to the original post, create a new thread with your system specs.
btw you have to change your ‘Global Log Filter’ from *:Critical to *:Info on Emulation > Configure > General > Debug so you can have an useful log.

Make sure that you put in the correct log filter in your debug settings like Step 1 of the log file guide tells you to: How to Upload the Log File
Your log file currently suggests it is set to Critical, instead of Info.
