FE Fates frequently freezes for 2 seconds then tries to quickly catch up afterwards?

This seems to happen either randomly or when maps try to load or if I talk to someone. It only started happening on day 2 of playing the game. The game and audio freezes for a moment, then unfreezes with a bit of lagginess and choppy audio then speeds up for another moment until it’s back to normal.

Hm, seems you are stuck at 50% speed and since you are on a laptop you will need to turn off Battery Boost in GeForce Experience to fix that. However this usually occurs when you have low frametimes like 5ms but you had over 38ms in the screenshot so perhaps it’s not this.

Also make sure you have set Power management mode to either Adaptive or Prefer maximum performance in Nvidia Control Panel.

these drivers are old, latest is 431.36 get it from Nvidia’s website or update through GeForce Experience.
