Issue:
It’s just as the title says. Anytime anyone enters combat the citra becomes a black screen and crashes. I thought I fixed that by turning off animations in the game. I was able to beat the prologue battle without any issues by doing that. However, as soon as beat the last enemy, citra turns into a black screen and then crashes.
System Information
Operating System:
windows 11
CPU:
12th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-1260P 2.10 GHz
GPU:
Intel Iris Xe Graphics
Citra Version (found in title bar):
Citra Nightly 1887
Open Citra, then go to File>Open Citra Folder (Citra>Open Citra Folder if on MacOS) and open up the log folder. Now keep that open in the background.
Launch your game and encounter the problem; crash/slowdown/glitch and close Citra if it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart Citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
Now upload the log file in this chat.
The reason why I tell users to open the log folder first, is so that they don’t have to go looking for it after encountering the crash. After all, the easiest way to get to the log file location is through Citra itself, but relaunching Citra will wipe the log.
