winver into your Windows search bar and run the prompt when it pops up. It should give you information about your Windows installation. Check to see if you are perhaps running a special Windows 10 version called Windows 10 N. This version of Windows has some of the normal Windows media files cut out of it. The log file shows that you are missing similar files.
Hello. Thanks for the brief answer. My Windows is Windows 10 Pro N. Version 2004.
Okay, you are indeed on a Windows 10 N version. To solve your issue, you need to have Windows download and install the Media Feature Pack in order for Citra to be able to use AAC files (the media files you are currently missing). That should solve your freezing issue.
To install the Media Feature Pack on Windows 10 2004:
Press the Windows start button and select the
Settings option. Then go to
Apps > Apps and Features and select Optional Features. Select Add a Feature and find the Media Feature Pack in the list of available Optional Features. Note, you will not be prompted to restart your computer, but you must restart in order to successfully complete installation of the Media Feature Pack.
After the restart, try your game again and see if the problem is fixed. If it isn’t, please upload another log file.
I REALLY thank you, SleepingSnake. Problem solved.
