Fire emblem Fates special edition Freezes Alot for me

Issue:
so i downloaded Citra Nightly and im trying to play Fire emblem Fates special edition but around chapter 6-7 when you can finally start having support conversations my game freezes a heck of a lot during said conversations at the end of them it also freezes sometimes at start of battles or when i leave like a shop or so it freezes in the transition, any help to solve this would be appreciated

There is a known issue with freezes because Citra doesn’t emulate some audio functions yet.

Fates gets stuck if you go to the private quarters. If it’s possible, don’t go in there.

found a solution by using rivatuner to limit fps of the citra emulator.
