Fire Emblem Fates: Support Edition got stuck at 0 FPS and exit Citra on its own

Issue:
Whenever I go to canary or nightly and run Fire Emblem Fates: Support Edition and pick Phoenix Difficulty, Citra lags and turned 0 fps, after a few seconds, it closes itself.
I already check that my OpenGL supports 4.0 and 3.3 so I wanna if there’s something that I didn’t check yet.

Ignore the bot regarding drivers, it is a bit dumb when it comes to old GPUs.

I guess you are a hardcore fan for having both EU & US version :stuck_out_tongue: (I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you didn’t pirate the game which would be illegal if you did).

Since you have an old GPU which can randomly crash due to a driver bug you might also need to use Nightly 1392 until you upgrade your computer: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-nightly/releases/tag/nightly-1392

You have a lot of file errors, try temporary delete 0017a800 folder at C:\Users\TOSHIBA\AppData\Roaming\Citra\sdmc\Nintendo 3DS\00000000000000000000000000000000\00000000000000000000000000000000\title\00040000
and 00001795 at C:\Users\TOSHIBA\AppData\Roaming\Citra\sdmc\Nintendo 3DS\00000000000000000000000000000000\00000000000000000000000000000000\extdata\00000000

This will wipe the save file if you have any.

Thanks for the help! It didn’ t work for a sec if I went to the old build, But when I change the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition’s extension known as 3ds into cci, it worked. I cannot appreciate without your help

Edit: I kinda think it that the rom functions differently when I change the extension but oh well.

Edit again: Also what is pirating?

It is when you obtain the game illegitimately, like downloading it from a website somewhere. You must own the game, either on cartridge (physical copy) or digitally (installed on your Nintendo 3DS).

I’m sorry if I ask another question again…
But is it more fun if you have a DLC? I kinda wanna know if you could merge the DLC in the rom (I don’t know if it’s illegal or anything.)

Click the link below to dump learn how to dump DLC and install it with File -> Install CIA in Citra.

Sorry for being late, but thanks anyways!

Also I already know the problem of why it got stuck when you choose the difficulty in this game.
I download Citra Nightly 1587 newer than what you asked before and it totally works and its much more faster than the old version.
The reason why it got stuck is probably because of the version of 1588 where they use this features:
videocore: When an image is the current framebuffer and is sampled, make a copy instead of using glTextureBarrier

maybe the copy thingy is the reason why it got stuck but I really appreciate your help!

Edit : I think that the GPU has to do something with the videocore lol

Ok, remember if you do get random crashes you will be forced to use 1392; or save very often.
