FPS cheats for Monster Hunter 4U do not apply

The cheats for 30 FPS are not applied even if I put them in the notepad. I have updated the game to version 1.1 and I can’t find a way to apply the cheats. I have already searched for cheats for the latest version but they still don’t work. The game runs at 10-13 FPS. Can anyone help me?

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G with Radeon Vega Graphics
  • GPU: Radeon RX 580 Series
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly 1881
  • Game: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate ver. 1.1

well, i put the CPU clock speed to 30% and it goes great now

ofc, you can also edit the game speed alongside this

Core_CPUClockPercentage: 10

This is the reason, it needs to be set to 100% and not 10%.

10% increases emulation speed but lowers fps, it can also cause freezes or crashes. For more stable emulation this needs to be set to 100%.

If you truly have v1.1 installed, it should say ver 1.1 on the title screen:

Beware that save states also changes Citra settings so if you have a save state where CPU clock is set to 10% and then go change it to 100% but you load the save state, it will go back to 10%.
