Already done updating the drivers still having the problem

Try Nightly 1501, I just booted up Pokémon Y and I could save. However I’m on v1.5
Tried without the update and I could still save.

Thank you for the suggestion, however i dont know how to download other nightly builds, can you tell how to do it?

If you used the installer just open Citra and it should ask you if you want to update.

What game version are you on? You can see in the game list, if it doesn’t say on the icon then it is v1.0. You can also see in game on the bottom screen:
image
(if it’s blank then it’s v1.0)

You have a lot of memory read errors and I can’t see you are using any cheat codes so that usually means the rom is corrupted :confused: maybe you need to redump it using the guides below. Have at least 2GB free space on the SD card.

my pokemon x’s version is 1.5

does cheats can really corrupt games?

Ok, can you test by removing the update? (Right click on the game -> Open Update Data Location) then go back to 0004000e folder and delete 00055d00 folder. Restart Citra then try again.

Yes, cheats can do that.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

I also tried removing the update unfortunately the crash problem is still there.

Try turning off vsync in the Advanced graphics options in Citra. I have been debugging this issue with this user and it seems the cause of the crash is due to the Split Presentation Thread change: Citra Emulator Always Stop Working

Also reset reset the Disk Shader Cache just in case, keep accurate multiplication enabled or you will get bugs with it if you turn accurate multiplication off so do not do that.

  1. File->Open Citra Folder
  2. Open shaders folder then delete the opengl folder

Reseting the shaders helps and there is no crash anymore, however when i tried to play again the game will crash after some minutes randomly. I guess the problem is about shaders.
